NOLA

We missed John so much we had to make a trip to visit him. Just so happened the Rebels were playing Tulane that same weekend. Yeah!!! We had a FANTASTIC time and really enjoyed being on the road with the Rebels! Thanks John for your hospitality and especially for the special pillows :)

Fun in the Country

What a treat--we had a beautiful Fall day and decided to head out to the Country! Several organizations joined together to have a carnival of sorts for Labor Day. Mom, Dad, Sarah, Hayes and I joined in the fun. I won't post many, but my favorite pics are below. It's days like this that I LOVE living in our small town!

A vist with old friends

Not long ago we took an afternoon drive to the cabin....our home when we were homeless. Mo LOVES the cabin, and really enjoyed visiting with his old friends. Can you tell?

Brian and Laura's Wedding

Whew--are we behind on our posting....so, even though it goes against my OCD, I'm not going to worry with the order of the pictures below (does anyone else get annoyed by the fact that you have to upload the pictures backwards from how you want them to appear on the blog?!?)

In August, we took to the skies and flew to Raleigh, North Carolina to celebrate with Scott's friend (and a pretty close one of mine too!). Brian had recently married and he and his wife, Laura, were throwing a big bash to party with all of their friends. We couldn't miss that, so off we went! It was such fun to be with them, and with our (notice I said "our" this time) friend, John. These 2 guys are pretty wild, so I never know what to expect...especially if they start to relive their college days. Thanks guys for a great weekend (and thank YOU, Laura, for adding another gal to the mix!). Great times.

Scott, Brian and John--at Carolina Inn for Fridays on the Front Porch (drinks and live music.) It was great weather, and a relaxing place to meet up with friends to kick off the weekend.

On our walk to dinner....stopping by the RED DOOR to get a group shot of fraternity brothers!
Dinner with my Dates
With the bride and groom...
Saturday's wedding party....Laura and Brian being introduced to "Welcome to the Jungle." Nice touch.
Scott gives a toast. Managed to keep it G-rated.
Much later in the evening...
My hot date---don't we look nice!
My more attentive date---pretty good looking too!

It took awhile to recover from this trip! That's a sign of a grand time. Thanks Brian and Laura and best wishes to you both!!
