This time last year, Scott and I were in Naples, FL celebrating the wedding of two of our friends, Jason and Mary Ann. Little did we know, that our little puppy had just been born....
Because we love an excuse to party, we threw a birthday bash for both Mo and his cousin, Sipsey, who's birthday is also in July. They had matching festive bandanas!
(We didn't realize it until his other cousin, Louis, came to the party that his birthday is also in July---so next year we will have a party for all 3 pups!). We had lots of family and dogs over for a cookout, and had a blast. Our neighbor, who has more than a few cats, was surely cursing those "crazy dog people" next door!
Sarah and Jeffrey brought their dogs Sipsey (of course!) and Satch. Sipsey is the miniature daschund and Satch is the lab. Cindi, Eli and Ford brought Louis, the pug. My mom and dad came, and brought regrets (and gifts) from their dogs, Maggie and Sophie. Our tiny house was full of family and fun!
I think the highlight was when Mo and Sipsey got their presents--even though the invitation (yes, we had an invitation!) said, "No gifts but BYOB." The nice thing with dogs is that they don't mind sharing! The Pup-Corn treats were a hit....and although the directions said give 1-3 treats/10 pounds, each dog had at least 20. haha
Enjoy the pictures---and I'm going to post a few from Sarah's camera because she had the pictures with the birthday candle! :) And I didn't get any pictures of Satch!

After all the guests had left, Scott and I cleaned up while Mo played with his new porcupine toy, which he took to bed with him last night!
