We recently had SNOW in Mississippi! Wow!! It wasn't very much, but it was enough to get out of school for 2 days :) I only went outside long enough to snap a few pictures.
Then, back to painting...I thought I was being productive by painting the window trim of 3 windows. After the 2nd coat, I realized that I had painted them BLUE instead of WHITE! Yikes!

Roll Tide Roll
"We are the champions!!! We are the champions!!!" Okay, so not of the world, but of the nation, which is the world when it comes to college football. Ramma Jamma! Alabama played a (yes, boring) but great game to bring home (I mean, to Wal-Mart in Gardendale), the crystal ball. Wow--what an exciting time to be a Bama fan! Roll Tide!
This was posted on our sign for the week of the BCS bowl game. I did not put it up there, I promise! But I was proud :) It says "Good luck Justin Woodall!" He graduated from Lafayette High School, and often returns home to visit. He is a great role model for our students!

The FUN side of Scott's trip
He managed to have some fun :) Several of Scott's friends from college (including 1 of his best friends that he hasn't seen since our wedding) made the trip to Dallas, and once he was done working he hit the town with them. My favorite phone call, I mean text, indicated that his per diem was not going to cover his dinner. The next day I got the same text!
Scott's NYE
My New Year's Resolution was for Scott to blog....and since he hasn't, I'm going to simply post pictures and you can figure out what his trip was like. He worked at the Cotton Bowl---I opted not to go. Thank goodness, because his main responsibility (aside from helping to set up and decorate for the NYE party for 1000 people) was to contract with and organize charter bus rides from 2 hotels to the stadium and back. Sounds easy enough? I was impressed when he informed me there were 41 buses and that each bus sat 52 people. Wow! Although it was a lot of fun, he was glad when it was over--especially since the Rebels won!

New Year's for Mary
Scott's New Year's post will follow. I did not want to go to Dallas (gasp), so after dropping Scott at the airport in Mobile, Mo and I made our way home via Birmingham. I figure if I'm in the state of Alabama, I must see my best friend and her babies!! Plus, it was fun to see my brother and his wife, so a win-win for me.
On the road to B'ham:
How can you not love this kiddo?!?
Where's Wells?
THERE he is!
Sweet Claire. Trying the dryer solution...didn't work.
Dana and Mary: 2009
Dana and Mary: 2010 (with the Dreamie--the cousin of the Snuggie!)
Vedar and Mo, who used to be great friends but now that Mo is a snob, not so much
See? He was for real sitting in my luggage!
The Sloans at the NYE party!
Beer Pong
My NY kiss!
