A day at the office...

When you work in a middle school, you just never know what to expect! Because of our financial crisis (yes, send money to your local school!), the Student Council did a fundraiser that really took off with the kids. They called it Change for Chicken and for a week we collected pocket change that would result in 1 of the principals dressing in a chicken costume. Who knew it would become such a hit?!? Our new principal "won" because she collected the most money--all in all, the students/staff donated close to $300! It was such fun and I'm glad we all had a good laugh together.
